Unai Emery revealed Sead Kolasinac was disconsolate after his error gifted Manchester United the goal which helped Jose Mourinho’s side battle back to force a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford.
Marcos Rojo’s own goal looked destined to help Arsenal record their third straight Premier League win, but the Gunners were forced to settle for a share of the spoils when Jesse Lingard capitalised on the Arsenal wing-back’s mistake.
Substitute Romelu Lukaku caused pandemonium in the Arsenal defence, rolling Sokratis Papastathopoulos, but as the ball ran loose there appeared to be little danger.

Kolasinac opted to take a touch rather than clear first time, allowing Lingard to pounce and slot past a stranded Bernd Leno.
Emery said afterwards:  ‘I am not frustrated. At the end Kolasinac had his head looking down and I said to Sead you had a very good match and you gave us a lot of good circumstances where we could have scored with your actions – these things can happen in defence.
‘These things can happen and above all be positive and learn with this action.’
