Mauricio Pochettino backs Son after being booked for simulation vs Leicester

Tottenham 3-Leicester 1
Tottenham hosted Leicester in Sunday?s early kick-off.
If Spurs beat Leicester they would reduce the gap between themselves and 1st place Liverpool to five points.
Mauricio Pochettino?s side did exactly that as Davidson Sanchez gave them the lead in the 33rd minute with his first ever Spurs goal.
Christian Eriksen doubled Tottenham?s lead in the 63rd minute.
Jamie Vardy would come off the bench to pull one back for Leicester but a Heung-Min Son strike in the 91st minute ensured Tottenham came away with all three points.
Leicester have now gone five league games in a row without a win.

Pochettino defends Son after ?dive?
During the Leicester game, Heung-Min Son was booked for simulation.
The incident occurred at 0-0 with the Korean catching his leg on Harry Maguire?s foot.

Later on in the game, Leicester would be awarded a penalty after Jan Vertonghen made contact with James Maddison.
The contact on Maddison was very similar to that of Son and Maguire yet the Foxes got a penalty while Son was booked.
As a result, Pochettino defended Son and questioned the referee?s decision in his post-match press conference:
“Today, do you think that Sonny deserved to be booked" Unbelievable, unbelievable, unbelievable. When you compare the situation with the penalty [given] against us, unbelievable.
“The problem is, I told Michael Oliver [about] the situation against Liverpool in the last minute that should have been a penalty. Maybe [it should have been] 2-2, maybe 2-1, but it was a clear penalty.
“It was the same referee but now I don’t know how he has measured the situation. It’s so difficult. I’m a person that always accepts the mistake but I think it was so strange, the situation today.? As quoted by ESPN.
